This free service is only provided for schools, charities, and non-profit organizations. Application from commercial organizations will be rejected.

A visiting capacity limit has been set strictly so as to conform with the fire safety standard. The group is only allowed to choose either one of the two daily timeslots.  The application form is only applicable for group size with 16 – 30 people.  There is no need to fill in the application form if the group size is 15 people or below.


No guided tour service will be provided for the group visit. 

If guided tour service is needed, please apply for the Exclusive Private Group Visit, or the School Guided Tour Service provided by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant – Mei Ho House Hong Kong Spirit Learning Project.


From Tuesday to Friday, two timeslots for group visit per day are available as follows.

Morning session      11:45-12:45

Afternoon session   15:30-16:30

No group visits are allowed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.


Parking lots are not available at YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel. Coaches are allowed to pick up or drop off visitors at the hostel main entrance (Only buses with 24 seats or less are allowed so as to conform with the road condition).

Reservations must be made from at least 1 week and at most 2 months in advance of the intended date of visit. We will handle all the applications on first-come-first-served basis. To avoid any misunderstanding, applicants are suggested to send out invitations to the targeted audience upon receiving the confirmation letter from Heritage of Mei Ho House.
