  • Eligibility

    All organisations or schools registered in Hong Kong are eligible for HKYHA Group Membership. The Association will verify all applications before granting membership.

  • Membership fee

    Companies or commercial organisations registered in Hong Kong

    HK $1,200

    Schools, charities, non-profit organisations,  government departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, non-governmental organisations receiving recurrent subvention from the Social Welfare Department, national sports associations which are members of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), and uniformed groups and youth organisations receiving recurrent subvention from the Home Affairs Bureau*

    Waived

    *Valid registrations or documents must be provided with the application (e.g. Non-profit organisation certification issued under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance or school registration documents) for HKYHA’s verification.

  • Validity

    Membership is valid for one year and must be renewed every year if the group wishes to continue using HKYHA facilities.

  • Membership Application/Renewal

    Organisations can apply for HKYHA membership or renew their membership in the following ways. Please allow 14 working days for HKYHA to verify your application.

    1. Online application/renewal (applicable to organisations or schools registered in Hog Kong only; applicants are required to send valid registrations or documents to HKYHA by post or fax as soon as their applications are submitted)
    2. In person

  • Required documents (Non-online application)
    1. Group Membershilp Application Form
    2. Copy of valid registrations or documents of your organisation
    3. Membership fee (cash/crossed cheque/credit card payment authorisation form)
    4. Return envelop affixed with a HK$1.70 stamp (applicable to postal application only)
    • All completed forms must bear the seal of the organisation or school and signed by the person-in-charge. Valid registration documents of the school or organisation must also submitted with the application.
    • If you are applying for membership through the post, please mark on the envelope “Group Membership Application”. Please do not send cash in the post.
    • Schools, charities, non-profit organisations, government departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, non-governmental organisations receiving recurrent subvention from the Social Welfare Department, national sports associations which are members of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), and uniformed groups and youth organisations receiving recurrent subvention from the Home Affairs Bureau are eligible for membership fee waiver with valid registrations or documents provided.
    • At least 9 dormitory beds or guest rooms are required for bookings with HKYHA Group Membership.
