Traveling and photography are never separable. A Hong Kong camera collector, Mr. So, has recently revitalized a three-storey Art Deco building in Happy Valley into a Photographic Museum, which showcases a vast collection of cameras, photographs and book collections, aiming to cultivate an interest in photography and an appreciation for the art form in the community.

The F11 Photographic Museum is renovated from a Grade III historical building on Yuk Sau Street in Happy Valley. On G/F and 1/F there are the exhibition halls housing permanent and different themed exhibitions; while on 2/F there’s the precious private camera museum where your eyes will be pleased by a vast collection of rare Leica cameras, and over a thousand copies of famous albums from the Magnum collection.

The current exhibition named “Best in Show” is displaying 50 original photographs by the legendary American photographer Elliott Erwitt. If you are a big fan of photography, this is one that you mustn’t miss! A warm reminder – don’t forget to make a reservation beforehand.
