AFTER EIGHT WEEKS OF SOFT LAUNCHED OPERATION, YHA MEI HO HOUSE YOUTH HOSTEL IS NOW OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

from the left) officiated the opening ceremony of YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel with other honourable guests.
Mr. C Y Leung, HKSAR Chief Executive, and Mr. Michael Wong, Chairman of Executive Committee of Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association, were invited to unveil the plague together in the grand opening ceremony.
Mr. C Y Leung, HKSAR Chief Executive was impressed that the hostel delivers the balance between conservation and development.
After eight weeks of soft launched operation, YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel is now officially launched. The opening ceremony was held on 20 December 2013. Mr. C Y Leung, HKSAR Chief Executive (Photo 5th from the left) accompanied by other honoured guests, Mr. Paul Chan, Secretary for Development, Mr. Michael Wong, Chairman of Executive Committee of Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association, Mr. Bernard Chan, Chairman of Advisory Committee on Revitalisation of Historic Buildings and Mr. Jimmy Kwok, Chairman of Sham Shui Po District Council, to officiate the opening ceremony.
The ceremony was lively and memorable Mr.C Y Leung, HKSAR Chief Executive visited the Mei Ho House fullcup café and store, as well as the 1st ever revealed nostalgic theme room. Upon the officially launch of the hostel, the 14 theme rooms are available for the reservation, so as the free guided tours which can be registered online, for visitors to retrace the history of Mei Ho House and the redolent of those golden days among the neighborhood.
