The origin story of eating rice dumpling was to memorize a Chinese poet, Qu Yuan. He had thrown himself into a river, however people were unable to find his body in the water. So they sailed the dragon boast and dropped rice balls into the river, and hope these action can stop the fish from eating his corpse.
