HKYHA welcomes customers with disabilities and values their feedback. In response to a recent media critique regarding disabled room facilities in our YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel, HKYHA would like to empthasize that all our disabled rooms comply with the guidelines for Barrier Free Access (BFA) issued by the Buildings Department of the HKSAR.

However, following receipt of comments from an organisation for the disabled in May 2014 and a subsequent on-site visit to Mei Ho House by their representative, we are pleased to announce that we have commenced to further upgrade facilities for the disabled in the relevant rooms.  Bookings of these disabled room has already been suspended since June 5, 2014.

We anticipate that these upgrades will take around two months to complete and apologise to our customers for any inconvenience that may be caused by the temporary closure of such rooms whilst work is in progress.

We value feedback at all times from our users.  Please contact us by telephone at 3728 3500 or by email to [email protected] for any comments or enquiries.
