Being a travelholic, going aboard for 2-3 times a year is not uncommon. Travel is the only thing you but that makes you richer. You met new people, bump into different cultures, to float and to gain.

HKYHA now invites you to share with us your unforgettable experience in your previous trip. You are not limited to any topics, just write to us your story in not less than 150 words with 5-10 pictures, and get the chance to win a free overseas HI hostels voucher (Value up to HK$1,400)!

How to join:

  • Recall one of your most unforgettable travel experiences
  • Write a travelogue with not less than 150 words.
  • Email your sharing to [email protected] with 5-10 photos, your full name and contact number

 

All qualified submitted works will be collected and shortlisted works will be uploaded to HKYHA’s official website and the voting period shall eventually begin. Anyone can enter the related Facebook page and click the “like” button to show support.

Upon the end of the voting period, the writers of the 3 articles with the most number of likes will win the game and get overseas accommodation for free!

Public voting period: 14 August 2017, 18:00 – 17 August 2017, 12:00
Result announcement: 21 August 2017

Terms and Conditions:

  • The number of submissions by each participant is unlimited.
  • The winner will be awarded with designated overseas accommodation in voucher form, which is bounded by related terms and conditions
  • The winner is responsible for making his/her own reservation. Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association (HKYHA) shall not be liable for overseas services or booking arrangement.
  • The winner should pick up the prize within one month after the result announcement. Otherwise, he/she will be deemed as forfeiting the prize.
  • The accommodation vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
  • The submitted work must include a travelogue with not less than 150 words with at least 5 photos. One may be disqualified upon lack of information.
  • Copyrighted, obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. HKYHA retains sole discretion as to what constitutes as inappropriate content.
  • Upon submission of works, the participant shall grant HKYHA the right to make use of the text and photos on any other platforms.
  • The winners will be announced on HKYHA official Facebook page and notified separately.
  • In case of disputes, HKYHA reserves the final right of decision.
