OBITUARY
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mr. John So, Honorary Advisor to the Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association.
Mr. So was a respected member of the Association’s Executive Committee from 1993 to 2011 and thereafter acted as an Honorary Advisor to the Association until his peaceful passing on 9 May 2018.
Over the course of the past 25 years, the HKYHA benefited greatly from Mr. So’s enthusiasm and experience in encouraging the younger generation of our citizens to visit and physically stretch themselves in Hong Kong’s Country Parks. Additionally, in 2007, Mr. So was instrumental in the establishment of HKYHA’s annual Ngong Ping Charity Walk in which event remains our flagship fund raising event of the year.
The Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association extends its deep condolences to Mr. John So’s family and many friends.
