The hostel locates at Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong’s highest mountain, where you may experience the beauty of nature and a panoramic view over the peak, while enjoying fresh air and tranquility in the morning. The rare scenery of frosting may occur at the peak of Tai Mo Shan in winter.

Places: for the dorms
Reservations and allocations are made on per bunk bed basis.
There are 84 bunk bed places in the dorms, divided into male dorm and female dorm: 2 dorms with 24 beds, 1 dorm with 12 beds, and 6 dorms with 4 beds. Allocation would be decided by hostel manager upon check-in.
Places: for the camp site
There are a total of 50 places at the campsite.
Scenic Spots / Leisure Activities Recommendation
1. Hike to the summit of Tai Mo Shan, the highest peak in Hong Kong, and enjoy a spectacular outlook over the landscape. The view is particularly stunning in sunny days.
2. Go hiking along the MacLehose Trail through the Tai Lam Country Park, and many others popular hiking spots.
3. Walk down to Chuen Leung Village to enjoy morning tea and “dim sum” at the traditional village teahouses.

Food/Catering
Catering service is not available at the hostel. You may prepare your own meal at the hostel kitchen or enjoy a barbeque in the outdoor area. Food and beverage can be purchased in Tsuen Wan town in advance.

1. From Tsuen Wan Railway Station Exit A, ascend steps to the flyover, then take a KMB bus of route no.51 towards Kam Tin, alighting at the junction of Tai Mo Shan Road and Route Twisk close to the Country Park Management Office.
Walk up Tai Mo Shan Road for approximately 45 minutes until the barrier to the higher levels of the mountain is reached, turn right and follow the hostel instruction signs for further 10 minutes to the hostel.
2. Groups may block book a minibus (24-seat maximum) direct to the hostel.
3. Take a red taxi (not green) from Tsuen Wan to the hostel.
Special Notice
Please bring a torch, as there is no lighting along the streets from Tai Mo Shan Road to the hostel.
